Hey Chris,
Chrisrobertson1 from Twitter here. I can sympathize and empathize. Marriage is a ton of work, for both sides. I have to remind myself of that daily.

I whole-heartedly agree that prayer is an integral part of any solution. It's also the glue to bond a marriage. My wife and I have been together for 6 years, but only married for one. She and I would pray individually for lots of things in the relationship, but one day when we started to get into an argument I took her hand and prayed aloud with her. Obviously it didn't immediately fix everything, but it certainly changed both our attitudes in the discussion to a much more healthy approach.

I guess my point is: prayer in solitude is great, and certainly needed. But, prayer together (especially at the exact time of crisis) is needed too, from my perspective. Maybe God is calling you to take that next step of faith and bring him to the next argument (and the next, and the next...).

Arguments are a part of any relationship and marriage. Thankfully, God is too.
