Sharon Stiteler, aka Birdchick, posted this on her blog today, and I thought it was really cool. Click the picture to embiggen, if ya like! I loved how it was presented in the style of LOLCats, a popular fixture on the ‘net. And she posed the question that I’m gonna pose right now: How many of my great readers get the reference that is presented here?

Please post a comment with your favorite quote or memory, without giving away the answer. Don’t go running to the Birdchick to find the answer. (Unless you’re really stumped!)

If this li’l beastie was actually in production instead of prototype phase, it’d be on my Christmas wish list! I actually did solve one on a computer simulation (took a few hours!), but nothing would compare to having the physical form to manipulate.

What an insane, and beautiful, puzzle!

Well, I’m back in touch with two services. One that I abandoned for a similar service and one other that I don’t use as often as I should.

I used Last.FM back when it was the premier social-music networking site. However, I didn’t like the fact that it used a separate application outside iTunes to do its thing. So I went to iLike instead, since that one proved simpler. However, after upgrading to Leopard, iLike won’t work very well now, due to Adobe being somewhat lacking in fixing up their Flash plugin for Leopard. So I re-visited Last.FM… surprise! They got a lot better since I was there last! So for now, I think I’ll stick with them.

Also, you may notice that I have some Del.icio.us links in the blog sidebar. These are bookmarks that I normally don’t go back to, but they may house some funny, irreverent or downright useful information. All visitors are invited to check them out, including the link to my whole repository of bookmarks! Some of them are just mind-blowing, like the tenth dimension animated movie.

Happy listening and linking!

I just found this on YouTube’s recent additions. I don’t know how long this is going to be up, so I hope that any Dr. Who fans in my family and friend’s circle catch this entry and watch the video! From what I understand, this may not be shown in the U.S. anywhere on TV. This is one of their mini-specials; the story takes place in-between season 3’s “Last Of The Time Lords” and the new season’s “Voyage Of The Damned”. Enjoy!!

Kudos to David Tennant and Peter Davison for doing such a fine job for a seven minute episode!
