Well, so far today is just a bleah day. It might be because I realize that I have to go to work tomorrow after being off for three days. Gee, thanks to the Thanksgiving holiday for giving me a pick-me-up, then slamming me down like an insignificant whelp!

I didn’t feel like making another video blog entry. I have too many small ideas to really want to implement all at once, and not enough big ones. So, in lieu of starting up any other projects, I’m continuing a small yet time-consuming project I’ve been working on. TheHylia.com has a video walkthrough of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess game. I’m taking all the cutscenes from the videos and making them into one large movie file. I’m not big on fantasy, but the storyline for the game is pure awesome. It will be interesting to see if the cutscenes, all together, hold their own without the gameplay. My mom-in-law likes fantasy, so I’m gonna show this to her when I’m done and get a outsider opinion.

photo2.jpgI’m typing this entry out while Thommen is spending some time on my shoulder. He just got a bath, so he’s feeling a bit chilly. Earlier, I was sharing some apple and pistachios with him. If he sees pistachios or popcorn in someone’s hand, they’d better run for cover, because he’ll go nuts trying to get at those snacks! Oh, he also likes drinking water out of my glass, as I showed in an earlier YouTube video.

Otherwise, I’ve just been alternately surfing the ‘net, playing around with my cubes and watching the birds while Christine cleans their cages. I just ordered replacement stickers from Cubesmith for the 5×5 Rubik’s Professor cube. It desperately needs new ones since the stickers on the blue and green face are barely hanging on anymore. It’s going to be a pain to re-sticker all those facelets, but these replacements are tiles made out of Lexan, so the look and feel will be worth it.

Oh, I also found a new group to listen to. Lunatica is a symphonic metal sextet hailing from Switzerland. Their music sounds epic enough without being overly cheesy and the singer sounds awesome; clean vocals without being air-y or whiney. It is a female-fronted band but, unlike most bands like that, they don’t do the “beauty and the beast” vocals much at all. If one is looking for a alternative to Nightwish, check out Lunatica.

Well, that’s all I have for now. Sorry that I’m just not really exciting at the moment. I’ll time this post to go up at around nine PM or so, just in case I have anything more to say.

Cheers!
