A long while ago, probably a year back, I posted a music video of our cockatiel, Emily, on the Esoterik Blog when it was at Blogger.com. Soon after that, I had to take it down because I needed the room on Cox’s servers for more pics; they only gave me 10Mb’s of measly space per email account. Well, since I have plenty of space on my new webserver account, there’s no reason for Thommen to hog all the love to himself (see last post).

Presenting… Emily’s music video!

  2. Wow, beautiful bird..Do you let her roam free around the house most of the time? What’s the upkeep like for those birds?

  4. Thank you! Yes, she is very beautiful compared to the other two male cockatiels, whom are handsome in their own right. No, our birds don’t roam free… we don’t want them eating something on the carpet that they shouldn’t be, or getting into things. We do let them out for an hour of play time. Emily is housed in the same cage as the two other cockatiels and a English budgerigar; It’s good to do this since they can be bored living alone.

Upkeep for these birds is simple commom sense. Fresh water daily, seed and pellet diet, and cage cleaning at least once a week.
