Think Secret article – True video iPod…

OMG…. eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep!

Can I have one please?

The possibilities of this bad boy to have full PDA capability are endless!

Actually, I’m not going drool-crazy on tech coming from the rumour mill. Yes, I opted out of having the current 5G iPod (the video supported one), mainly for reasons like this. Anytime a new tech product comes out, just wait six months and something better comes out to replace it. Wait 1-1/2 to two years, and an upgrade will finally be worth it!

ABC News: Paying for Play on the Radio

This, my friends, is just one more reason for me to stick with internet radio.

Some of my other reasons for not listening to regular radio include, but are not limited to:
1) Radio stations overplaying songs to death
2) Radio mostly has become a sanctuary for songwriters, not musicians
3) My tastes don’t fit into the “norm” of the major music market

Of course, that’s just my opinion. I wonder what others like to listen to for fresh tunes…

The only other thing to go along with this is… I’m thankful for the independent DJ’s that have a love for music and play whatever they feel like. I’m also thankful for services like Live 365 (pay) and Apple’s iTunes (free). There’s a plethora of other internet radio sources if one just does a casual search. Try it sometime if you haven’t done so.

Did I ever tell all of you how much I love tortilla chips?

Also, the same site for the sentence-link I just posted also has a list of worst chips ever made. Some people think their kitchen creations are bad… they should read these abominations!

Well, I did some preliminary work on taxes for the year. Every year, sadly, I’ve been a procrastinator when it came to dealing with those mind-numbing 1040’s, W-2’s and such.

I’m not gonna say how much I (we) owe the Fed. But it seems that even with zero exemptions filed on my pay, I’ll still need to give an extra $30 or so each paycheck, along with the 9% that usually gets taken out! (Dang tax brackets!)

Here’s to America… I’d say we are long overdue for a Tea Party!
