It seems that every bird just loves to be around, or pick on, Kiwi. All the little parakeet wants is to be left alone. In the pic that should be called “the big and small of it”, Thommen simply can’t resist taking a good look at Kiwi before lunging at him for sport! Bad Thommen! He got a “time out” for that stunt. Right now, Kiwi is living with Alex the cockatiel in the same cage. Alex is loving this arrangement and simply can’t get enough of it. Kiwi, on the other hand, seems to be saying “Do I need to have the words ‘Prison Fun Boy’ tattoed on my beak!?” Oh well, at least he knows how to defend himself. I uncovered them this morning, only to discover Alex on his back, hogtied and muzzled, with Kiwi quietly chirping away. Good Kiwi!!

Blogger.com is going offline for a bit today (so I hear!) but, before they do, I want to say something about internet radio. If you haven’t gotten into this kind of radio, you’re missing out big-time! I don’t even listen to local radio anymore, partly because internet radio offers sooooooo much more variety. Local radio only plays the popular music that the record company execs think are good enough to force-feed to the masses. You can find any, and I mean any, music you want on internet radio.

I’ve been switching off between Progged Radio and Progulus Radio, since I’m more into the progressive rock and metal scene. The Windows version of iTunes, just like the Mac version, has an updated list of lots of great internet stations to listen to from all genres of music. Check it out when you get the chance… you won’t regret it!

Part 2 will be my Top 10 favorite albums.

Cheers!!
