2005 World Series Game 4
YEEEEEEESSSSSSSSS!!!!!
No need for a Game 5… it’s too bad we can’t be at the victory parties in Chicago! However, I do work with quite a few transplanted Chicagoans here in AZ, and I’m sure we’ll all be grinnin’ ear to ear tomorrow! Yes, I’m a Cubs fan and a White Sox fan, too. I’m just glad that one of our Chicago teams is doing the victory dance tonight! (And it only took 88 years!)
On a side note, I kinda wonder how many (or few?) teams have swept a World Series?
(Will someone please get Jerry Reinsdorf off the TV?)
I have to hand it to the Houston Astros, though. They put up a great fight, as evidenced by the really close games. Just like I did for the Sox, I made an insignia for the Astros to use on this blog… just in case they won a game or two. I can’t say I’m terribly disappointed that I couldn’t use it! I may post some more afterthoughts on this during the weekend, when it’s had a chance to sink in more. I still can’t believe it!!! Whoooooooohoooooooo!!!!!
Cheers and blessings!

Well, i won’t say that something froze over last night even though we woke up to a frost….
Doin the happy dance in Ohio for the White Sox.
Bet Dad (Grandpa) asked the Lord for this…

more transplanted Chicagoans.
Go Sox!
I came this way via Captain Picard’s journal. I live in Chicago and I really hope the Sox World Series win will get the other Chicago teams to stop shuffling around in mediocrity.
