(7:30 pm) Well, here we are… just a couple of White Sox fans watching one of our favorite teams play in the World Series. I had slim hopes that either Chicago team would make it this far within my lifetime! Confession here: I’m more the Cubs fan, but I consider myself a Chicago fan more than picking either team. Christine’s thoughts: there’s only one Chicago team. But I digress! I’m happy just to be watching this. So far… bottom of the 7th inning, score is Chicago White Sox 4 - Houston Astros 3. Will post update really soon…

(8:21 pm) What a game! The Astros put up a good fight, but our Chicago White Sox are the winners of Game 1, with the ending score of 5 to 3! I’m not much into sports, but I’ve always had a soft spot for baseball. Especially now, since it’s my home city team. I’ll post Game 2 when the time comes. Cheers!
