The cake was great, but I overdid it. Spent the next hour nearly comatose. Had a good time!

Sorry it’s taken a week for a new posting. Not much to report here. Well, actually too much, really. Work has been sheer hell for me as of late, and I’ve just been at a loss for words. As I started writing this, Pink Floyd’s “High Hopes” started playing and it kinda summarizes my mood when I think back through the week. Next week (hell, how about next month!) should go better for me. Pick up the broken pieces of my professional passions and move on, I suppose. The only thing good about the past seven days was Christine and I’s three year anniversary, which went very well! I treated her to an ear piercing that she wanted, and bought the “Invader Zim” volume 2 discs for us (gonna get volume 1 and 3 soon… had to order 1!). So, just a mixed week overall.

Oh, I’m working on another video, this time for the parakeet named Kiwi, to the tune of Billy Squire’s “Everybody Wants You”. Coming along good so far, just slow going due to everything else in my life. I’ll write again soon!

Hey all! Sad news… with some good thrown in. I will have to take “Emily’s Music Video” down for the time being. What’s good about this is I am currently working on a photo gallery website in place of where my graphics site used to be. Unlike the graphics site, which was made with MS Word, the photo gallery is something I’m creating all by myself while learning HTML (I’m even designing it with frames, something Word could not do!!). I have 30-some-odd files and folders on the measly 10 MB space Cox graciously gives. Emily’s video, weighing in at 4.8 MB, is taking up room on the server that I need for files and photos.

I’m also thinking of posting audio files here, from time to time, for others to enjoy… kinda like podcasting, or audio blogging. Maybe some samples of my favorite music, or news from my own mouth. If anyone thinks this is a good or bad idea, please respond.

As always, thanks for tuning in! I think I’ve been pretty good so far about posting every few days or so. I encourage everyone in my life to come here to see what’s up from time to time. And comment! If anyone wants a hard copy of the video file, let me know.

Update!! I now have the working draft of The Esoterik Gallery up and running at: http://members.cox.net/esoterik72/photogallery/… Visit it soon and keep in mind that it’s a work in progress, not the end result! Also, Internet Explorer doesn’t display the gallery correctly. That’s ok because it doesn’t even display the blog correctly, either… and the template for said blog was designed by experts!! All I can say is Safari rules!

Desireé Montes de Oca! This is a little belated, since it was on Monday 5/16… Her family pointed it out to me, so I just had to post it. Here’s hoping they see my wish for her to have (had) a great birthday!

The ears and limbs have grown out more, and though you may not tell from the photos, her coat has filled out more and she looks more like an adult bunny. So, not exactly a dwarf, but a miniature lop-ear. And still feisty!
