Well, we had to get rid of the eggs last Wednesday. None were fertilized, save one which was dead in the shell. We went ahead and put away Emily’s nestbox, certain that we were doing the right thing. What does she do on Thursday? That’s right… she lays another egg! We honestly don’t know what we’re going to do about this, except to keep the nest box there for her. Let’s hope that this one, or any others after it, have better luck!

The Week in Review (end 4/1/05): This week was somewhat better for me at work. Getting caught up from the chaos that was all of last month. I’m not totally caught up yet with my work, but I’m heading in the right direction. I scheduled our month’s work for my team and myself, and it seems easier on us than March was! We’ll see how it goes…
